Educational Qualifications and Experience
1. Sector Expert – Standards & Labelling
Applicants need a bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology with at least 60% marks or equivalent grade, along with a postgraduate/master's degree in Engineering, Technology, Energy Planning, Energy Management, Sustainable Energy, Environmental Studies or Environment Science.
At least 5 years of post-qualification experience is required in relevant work such as energy management, operations and maintenance, technical evaluation of energy savings or appliance and equipment standards. BEE Certified Energy Auditor/Manager credentials are desirable.
2. Sector Expert – ADEETIE
The educational qualifications are the same as those prescribed for the Standards & Labelling Sector Expert. Applicants must have at least 5 years of post-qualification domain experience in MSME. BEE Certified Energy Auditor/Manager credentials are preferred.
3. Sector Expert – ECSBC/Buildings
A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology or Architecture with at least 60% marks or equivalent grade is required, together with a relevant postgraduate/master's degree in the fields specified in the vacancy circular.
Candidates need at least 5 years of post-qualification experience involving building energy management, energy conservation building codes, energy simulation, green building ratings or related work. Relevant professional certifications and knowledge of building energy efficiency technologies are desirable.
4. Sector Expert – Artificial Intelligence
Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Computer Science or an allied discipline with at least 60% marks or equivalent grade, and a postgraduate/master's degree in Engineering, Technology, Computer Science, AI & ML or Data Analytics.
At least 5 years of post-qualification experience in AI or data analytics applications relevant to the energy sector is required.
5. Project Engineer – NECA
Applicants must have a bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology with at least 60% marks or equivalent grade and a minimum of 1 year of post-qualification domain experience involving examinations, energy management, auditing or related activities.
Preference may be given to candidates with valid GATE scores, BEE Certified Energy Auditor/Manager credentials or a relevant postgraduate/master's degree, as described in the official circular.
