Some major state-wise allocations are Karnataka (581), Uttar Pradesh (409), Tamil Nadu (391), Andhra Pradesh (247), Kerala (240), Maharashtra (205) and West Bengal (150). The complete state-wise and category-wise distribution is available in the official notification.

Candidates can apply for training seats in only one state. District preferences may be provided, but final allotment depends on availability and the bank's requirements.

Educational Qualification

Applicants must hold a degree in any discipline from a university recognised by the Government of India, or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Central Government.

The graduation passing date must fall between 1 January 2023 and 1 September 2026, both dates inclusive.

Minimum Class 12 or Diploma Marks

The bank also specifies minimum qualifying marks in the Class 12 (10+2) or Diploma examination:

  • General, EWS and OBC candidates: 60%
  • SC, ST and PwBD candidates: 55%

These percentages are important because the state-wise merit list is prepared using Class 12 or Diploma marks, not graduation marks. Fractions are not rounded up: 59.99% does not meet a 60% requirement.

Age Limit

Applicants must be between 20 and 28 years old as on 1 September 2026. For the general age range, eligible dates of birth are 2 September 1998 to 1 September 2006, inclusive.

Additional concessions apply to eligible widows, divorced women and legally separated women who have not remarried. Applicants claiming relaxation should consult the notification for the applicable limits and documentary requirements.
