Karnataka 2nd PUC Logic Model Question Paper Pattern

Each Logic model question paper carries 80 marks, provides 3 hours for the examination and contains 43 questions.

The papers include multiple-choice questions, fill-in-the-blanks, matching activities, one-word or short-answer questions, reasoning-based questions and descriptive answers.

Students should give special attention to inductive reasoning, observation, experiment, causation, scientific method, hypothesis, probability and the analysis of arguments.

How to Practise Logic MQP 1 to MQP 5

Begin with MQP 1 after revising the major concepts and definitions from the Logic syllabus. Attempt the complete paper within the prescribed 3-hour examination period.

After completing the paper, identify incorrect definitions, reasoning mistakes and arguments that were difficult to analyse. Revise those concepts before attempting the next model paper.

Continue with MQP 2, MQP 3, MQP 4 and MQP 5. For Logic, understanding the reasoning behind an answer is more useful than simply memorising the final response.

MQP 1 → Review Reasoning → Revise Concepts → MQP 2 → Practise Arguments → MQP 3 → MQP 4 → MQP 5

Simple Logic Exam Preparation Plan

Learn Definitions → Understand Concepts → Practise Reasoning → Analyse Arguments → Solve Model Paper → Review Mistakes → Practise Previous Papers

Pay particular attention to the difference between closely related concepts and practise explaining why an argument or inference is valid or defective instead of relying only on memorised answers.
