Regional Exam Date Changes

Swipe the table sideways to see all columns.

Regional centre General timetable date Applicable exam date
Gangtok 22 October 2026 27 October 2026
Gangtok 23 October 2026 3 November 2026
Dehradun and Prayagraj 20 November 2026 3 December 2026

Confirm which regional centre applies to you before finalising your exam plan. Overseas students should confirm their applicable schedule with NIOS.

How to Check Your NIOS Hall Ticket

Open the NIOS hall-ticket page . Enter your 12-digit enrolment number, select the appropriate hall-ticket type and submit.

NIOS states that the examination fee must be paid and a photograph must be recorded against the learner's details for the hall ticket to be downloaded. Contact your Regional Centre if it is not generated.

Check that the document is for the correct session and examination type. The presence of a download form does not by itself confirm that every theory hall ticket is available.

Check What to do Why it matters
Registered subjects Match each subject name and code with your records. Helps you select the correct papers from the timetable.
Exam dates Make a personal list and include any regional changes. Keeps your own examination schedule easy to follow.
Paper duration Note the finishing time for every subject. Helps you practise within the correct time limit.
Hall-ticket details Check your name, photograph, enrolment number and subjects. Gives you time to report any mismatch.
Exam centre Read the centre address and plan your journey. Helps you reach the correct location on time.
Reporting instructions Follow the reporting time and document requirements printed on your hall ticket. Helps you arrive prepared for entry to the centre.

How to Plan Your Revision

Arrange your subjects in exam-date order. Beside each subject, write the topics you still need to revise. Prepare papers with shorter gaps in advance so you have time for a final review before the exam.

Practise answering questions within the duration shown for your paper. Review mistakes after each practice session and set aside time to revisit difficult topics.

Before leaving for each examination, check your personal schedule, hall ticket and the latest official instructions.
