NTA Exam Calendar 2026-27: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced tentative dates for 14 examinations scheduled between December 2026 and March 2027.

NTA Exam Calendar 2026-27: Complete Timetable
The table below shows all 14 examinations listed in NTA's September calendar. For Joint CSIR-UGC NET, the dates have been updated using the newer 7 October 2026 notice.
The duration column shows the number of scheduled examination days. It does not mean that every student will take a test on every listed day.
Latest NTA Updates: October 2026
NTA has issued separate notices for some examinations after releasing the September calendar. Here are the important changes and application deadlines.
1. UGC NET December 2026
The examination is scheduled for 14-19 December 2026. Online applications opened on 8 October 2026.
- Regular application deadline: 28 October 2026, 11:50 PM.
- Late application window: 29-31 October 2026, with an additional fee of Rs. 500.
- Application correction dates: 2-4 November 2026.

2. Joint CSIR-UGC NET December 2026
The September calendar originally listed 20-21 December. However, NTA's notice dated 7 October 2026 gives revised examination dates of 19, 22 and 27 December 2026.
- Regular application deadline: 5 November 2026, 11:50 PM.
- Late application window: 6-9 November 2026, with an additional fee of Rs. 500.
- Application correction dates: 10-12 November 2026.

3. SWAYAM July 2026 Semester
The SWAYAM examination is scheduled from 8 to 12 December 2026. NTA opened online applications on 9 October 2026.
- Application deadline: 31 October 2026, 11:50 PM.
- Last date to pay the examination fee: 1 November 2026.
- Application correction dates: 2-3 November 2026.

No. The calendar covers examinations proposed between December 2026 and March 2027.
